We have known for quite a while about Gifford’s blatant abuse of the franking privilege extended to Congress but the current eye opening revelation by “The Star Newspapers” Daniel Scarpinato shows Gifford’s and her handlers have no shame. According to federal disclosure statements Gifford’s beautiful, glossy. color campaign brochures that she sent out cost the taxpayers one quarter million dollars to print and mail. She has reached the status of number “1” in spending taxpayer dollars for mailing in all of Congress.
Gabby and her team have no respect for hard earned taxpayer dollars and must feel it is their duty to spend the money in shameless self promotion. We demand that she pay back the public funds she used and replace them with her campaign funds which she should have used to begin with. Gabby, one quarter of a million dollars would pay for a lot of meals on wheels for our seniors.
