Proving her worth

Gabby Giffords is lying to Arizonans and the American public about her stance on Iraq. There it is, plain and simple, black and white, and here is why…

On February 27th, 2007, after returning from a Congressional delegation trip to Iraq, led by Senator Kyl, Giffords told Nogales International that she now understands what the military is trying to do in Iraq and that it “doesn’t take much time on the ground to know that the United States is facing a determined enemy.”

Here is what the article said about a possible vote in Congress to cut off funding for Iraq:

“While some say Democrats in Congress - the party controls both chambers - are using the surge to lead to a possible vote to cut off funding for the American forces engaged in Iraq, the congresswoman said that is not her intent.

If the Democratic leadership brings up a bill before the House to cut off the funding for the troops already in the country, Giffords said, it will not have her support.

“I will never vote for it,” she said.

The American military is doing outstanding work in a situation where their lives are threatened every day, the congresswoman said. She also was impressed by the GIs’ dedication and courage.”

She is impressed with our military and says she will not vote to cut off their funding? Then what happened in the House on the 23rd with H.R. 1591 and Gabby voting for it? Doesn’t 1591 severely reduce the funds being allocated for Iraq, thereby forcing President Bush to begin a troop reduction? I guess Gabby’s philosophy is ‘believe what I say, but don’t watch what I do.’

Once again, Gabby proves her worth as a leader of this nation by telling our troops she’s impressed with them, but she won’t help them. Was the ride on Pelosi One worth it?

Thank you, Congresswoman Giffords. You and Congressman Mitchell are making us proud to have voted for you every day! We all know that you, like a great majority of Arizonans and Americans, support our troops 100%, but want the mess in Iraq to end.
    Thanks again, Congresswoman Giffords.
We are grateful for your service to Arizona and America.

JC, do you not read up on things? Do you not see her contradicting herself? Blind liberal right there.
